Newby here. 1968 C10
I actually joined several months ago but was never able to post or reply anything until today. Finally, was able to send an email to one of the administrators and my acct was unlocked.
Anyway, here a few pics of my 68 C10 I bought last July. It's a bit of a Frankentruck with the 1990 box but the lines seem to work for me at least. It also has a 69 or later hood and grill based on the badging. I guess the 90's box was a popular option since the 68 stepside boxes are pretty rare I understand. Another thing about this 68 is it has the small back window which I understand is also rare for a 68 since it was not offered in 68 I understand. The VIN# appears to be a late 67 build so that might explain how it ended up with the small back window. The frame VIN stamping also matches the VIN tag. It's had a frame off restoration I'm guessing 7-8 years ago. I believe it's out of Missouri because it had a Missouri DMV sticker on the windshield. It has a GM crate 350 with a mild street Comp Cams roller cam with roller rockers backed by a Saginaw 4 speed manual trans. Edelbrock Performer EPS manifold topped off with an Edelbrock 1406 Carb.
