found a 69

if this goes thru it will be my first truck in a looong time. i've found what looks like a 1969 3/4 ton, 2WD, 8 lug, and i think full floating rear, 8' bed, CST. some rust in the usual places and a little missing trim. interior is there but rough, frame is solid. pretty a much unmolested pickup, not bad for the east coast. guy wants the engine and tranny all i have to do is make an offer. i'm thinking $1,000 or less. but i am unsure and was hoping some of you might have better idea than i.
