1967-70 brake shoe pad question
Hi Everyone,
I got a quick question on a new set of brake shoes I picked up earlier today. In the past I have been purchasing my shoe pads from one part store that sells Raybestos brake shoes, and having nothing but problems after problems with them. I decided to get new brake shoes somewhere else. Today I went to Kragens, there brake shoes are also made by Raybestos, but the pads are riveted on, not like the glued ones i'm currently using. These are for a 1967 C10, 4x2, I6, 250, look identical, and I believe they should work without a problem, but wanted to get you guys opinions first. Also on the trip to & from Kragens, the brakes on the front would not work, but the rears did, and stopped me with a loud eeeeerrrrrrrrr. The 1967-70 brake shoes should be the same to at least 1960 right? TIA, David
