Brought home my 71 2day... Crate 350?

Here what I got:

71 LWB 350/250 factory AC, PB, and PS. Still has the factory AM radio. 'ol guy said a new engine was put in her around 10 years back, he beileves it was a crate but made no promises, how do i find out? I drove 4 1/2 hours running 80 to 85 just a smooth as can be, there's not one glitch of play in the steering and AC blew cold but think it could use a charge. Needs to be repainted, whoever he had do it the last time it was painted needs to get out of the auto painting business all together... I excited - can't wait to get started totally redoing her
