*** 70 1 ton 4 sale ***

This is actually a 31004 model, which had the 9 foot stepside bed. (just like a Longhorn, only stepside). It is a C-30 with 133" wheelbase. There were a little more than 2,100 of these built in 1970. I took the bed off and sold it to a member, put duals and a flatbed on it. It has a strong 307 V8, 4 speed, power steering, and overload springs. You can tell from one of the pictures that this thing can carry a load - I had 2 motors and 3 transmissions on it! The truck runs and drives fine. The brakes will stop the truck but could use a little work. Frame is super solid. Front tires good, back tires not so good. Little rust in the usual places, not real bad. Doors are near perfect, only slight surface rust on the bottoms. Power steering gear box whines a little, but works fine. I will advertise local, but wanted to give you guys first shot at it. $800 in NW Alabama.
