Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: NE Kansas Posts: 889	68 window guts in a 72 door The basic project: Using a gutted 72 door to replace the mangled 68 Will move the 68 internals over Doing the PW upgrade at the same time http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=829693 Keeping 68 door panel for the 72 door 1. Since I'm using the 68 interior panel, I don't need to worry about the longer shaft on a 72 window regulator, correct? 2. Should I try to use the 72 reinforcing screw with a 68 vent window, or just weld up the hole and be done?
