Moving the gas tank

There are probably hundreds of threads about moving the tank out of the cab but the search function is turned off.

My truck is in the body shop (got rear-ended last month) with a buckled cab and damaged fuel tank, among other things. I figure now is the perfect time to convert the gas tank.

I'd like to hear from folks who've made the switch and what kit they used or what method works best. I have a stepside with the spare on the fender.

Standby for more questions...

Thanks y'all.
