Odd 1993 GMC Suburban on Copart

I don't see a subforum for Suburbans but figured I'd post it here.

There's a low mile 1993 GMC Suburban on Copart right now that had been a fire commander's truck apparently. It is an SLE, K2500 with a 454.

Now the odd part: It has an SS cluster.

Being that it has all of its lights still attached makes me think it was still in service until the wreck. The seats have been recovered which I assume was done when it was new for the HD use the seats would be getting or possibly done later while it was in service due to wear.

My question is: how did it get an SS cluster?

Some are saying it's a police "Interceptor" yet from all the info I have, GM did not offer a SEO truck until 1997 and this truck DOES NOT have any SEO RPOs. It's just an plain white SLE that's loaded.
