Radiator blues - Fragrance of a rebuild

Desiring an OEM radiator type, I picked up the first one from Summit. The transmission line nuts were bad and I was glad to get rid of it, but the warranty had lapsed long before.

Picked up the second radiator from a different manuf. via speedway. Shook like a tin maraca.

Heard about US radiator, $1100 gets a real nice piece you'd think. Heavy, perfect shape and fit, and a super finish. When all else is said and done it leaks. I have an appt. for alignment Wednesday, and will get confirmation in writing. What a hassle and expense, and the delays even worse.

The strong and lasting odor of a fresh rebuild took me by surprise, testimony auto paint, powder coat, hot & cold cerecote, and por15 engine paint. Kind of cool really

I developed an assembly guide (kit) for restoring this truck from the ground up, complete with details including full hardware descriptions. Much of the info. applies to all 67-72 GM. My build thread, with some info. about the assembly kit https://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/...d.php?t=730025
