tail light harness connecting to tail light bucket

I''m trying to attach the taillight bucket to my wiring harness in my 68 c-10 fleetside. I have no instructions, so nothing makes sense. The harness plugs into the back of bucket. But i don't know if it pushes in and turns or if there is a right orentiation of the plug in the bucket. I can't find any video to tell me the right way to attach. It seems that it would have to push in and turn, but i'm afraid i will break something if i do it wrong. I know you all have worked with this as some point in time, so can you lead me to the right direction to attach wiring harness plug to taillight bucket?
A diagraim would be great and a little "lead me like a 6 year old" would help me a lot..lol
