Dana 44 Big Hub Front Axle
Dana 44 big hub front axle off of a 1973 Chevy K20. 4.10 gears. New ball joints, u-joints, and rotors. Needs new pinion seal and hub seals. I decided to go a different direction with my build and am staying with my original axle. Spicer hub locks are NOT included.
WMS to WMS is 69" The axle has been cleaned and painted. I didn't replace the hub seals, or the inner axle seals, and didn't change the oil in the front end yet. All those parts were diverted to my original axle. Originally, I was going to put this under my K20 and was going to regear it to 4.56's, but after a lot of thought I decided that I want to keep my truck original and will be staying with the closed knuckle front end. The bearings are ok...I was going to reuse them. The spindles cleaned up ok, but I would probably put a speedi-sleeve on the sealing surface. I did that with the other axle with the sleeves that were meant for this axle. Again, I will be keeping the Spicers. They have since been removed since taking these pictures. I have no way to ship this, so it would be for local pickup only. Asking $550 OBO Thanks, Clay
