Exterior Mirror question.
Gonna change out my sport mirrors , one I knocked the head off and the other flops. Bought a pair of NOS ones off the parts board here a few years ago so time to install. I think I already know the answer to my question but want to verify and hope I'm wrong. Is there a plate on the inside of the door that mirror screws attach to and is it attached to the door or loose and will fall if I just remove the screws.
