Long bed side measurement, part of ?

Well Maybe I need to quit sitting around dreaming this stuff up but does someone have the measurement from the front of the bed side to the part of the second stancheon post that is spot welded to the bedside. As in if you cut the bed at that point that would be the front of the bedside and look and work as original with a few new holes.

I've helped do a couple of them in the past but don't have any measurements . That and my Buddy's old truck is too far away to measure.

Borrowed photo that MrTucker posted a while ago that I marked.

71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
