Texas Toast is Well Done!
First, thanks to all the support from the family here.
When I drove the ‘66 into my shop it started as a “just going to do a few things” mod and the next thing I know it’s a bare frame on jack stands. Been there? So glad I did. All new suspension, disc brakes all around, stroked 6.2 LS3 418, 4L80 stage 2 w/3K stall, Lokar shifter, all new glass, new seals, Dakota Digital HDX, Leather seat custom stitching, Vintage Air, etc, etc, etc and rear window gun rack! Took my son on the inaugural run and wish I had a video of the smiles on our faces going down the road! Again, thanks for everyone’s help, insight and experiences on the LS swap and mods. Wish I knew how to upload a video. Here’s a few pics of Texas Toast.
