S/S Bed Side Caps?

Used stainless steel in the title but thinking most back in the day were aluminum tread plate.

Anyone running the tread plate aluminum bed rail caps on their truck now days? Haven't seen that for a while. Was pretty popular in the 80's, seen a lot of the square body trucks doing that with the tail gate protector cap also.

Wondering what it looks like on a 67-72 long bed with the t'gate protector cap also. Pics would be great if anyone has such.
