Question for others running Heddman Headers
My question is to my fellow board members who are also running the Heddman Full-Length headers on their SBC Engines in a 2wd Non-A/C trucks.
The problem I noticed with mine is that the primary-tube on the drivers-side is about 1/16th of an inch or lss from rubbing on the lower control-arm nut and 90-degree Zerk fitting. I think when the engine vibrates/flexes under acceleration it touches. I say this because I noticed an unusual rattle/squeak last weekend on my way home and took a look at it and i'm pretty sure this is the cause. I also noticed the tube is very close to the frame rail as well. Anyone else with these problems? All I can say is I'm glad I'm going back to manifolds after all the leaky gaskets and trouble they have given me over the years! Kenny
