1971 Jimmy Fuel setup help?

I have read and searched for three days and am still a little confused about what setup will work. Let me give you a little background on what I want to do.

I would like to use a 25 galllon 87 Blazer tank since it has a baffle in the tank. Use the 87 sending unit for that tank and install the proper fuel pump on the sending unit. I have stock gauges in the 1971 Jimmy and I know they are set up for 0-90 ohms. According to everything I have read the 87 sending unit is 0-95 ohms.

So do people just live with that incorrect reading, and change out the sending unit head from a stock 1972 sending unit that is 0-90 ohms? Is there an adapter or a better way to do it?
