1972 GMC Step-side
****SOLD****SOLD****
I am selling my (my grandfathers), 1972 GMC, 1/2 ton, 4x2, step-side, short bed truck, c10 Clean Title in hand. ****SOLD****SOLD**** It is rusty along the cab rain gutter and bottom of cab. It has a ZZ4 motor from around (2000) with about 100K miles on it, backed up with a rebuilt turbo 350 from the same time. I was young a dumb and put a 750CC carb on it, jetted down as far as it can be, so it runs good but doesn’t jump off the line like it should because it is a bit too much fuel off the line with a heavy foot. Other than having to be gentle with the gas off the line it runs great and I trust it to be reliable mechanically. The front end suspension is in need of TLC but is still in alignment and fully functional, just squeaky and creaky. It has rear leaf springs and a 12 bolt rear end. The wood in the bed is in need of replacement and the truck needs some love but it is 90% there and relatively unmolested. ****SOLD****SOLD**** I’ll be taking the Knaack box off the back of it but the chrome tool box will stay with the truck. ****SOLD****SOLD**** And I have extra parts including the motor I pulled out of it when I put in the ZZ4, which was built by S and S motors in San Leandro for my grandfather at some point, that was one hot motor and I have no reason to believe that motor couldn’t be rebuilt: 010 block, performance heads, cam, crankshaft, distributor, intake, etc. ****SOLD****SOLD**** I also have misc. parts including old smog parts and stuff. I’d like the buyer to take all the parts with the truck so I don’t have to mess with them. ****SOLD****SOLD**** I’m asking XXXXX but am open to offers. ****SOLD****SOLD**** I have created a public album in my profile. I have also added photos below, scroll down to view.
