Back, after 20yrs….

I first joined this forum way back, while restoring a 69 CST-10 I bought as a project in high school. I got the truck into primer, and while backing it out of the body shop, the drivers door swung open (no door latch), it caught the side of the garage and I folded the drivers door to the fender, badly tweaking the whole A-pillar post, destroying the door, and my will to continue on with the resto.

I sold it to my uncle for a song and disappeared into life.

2yrs ago I purchased a storage unit of parts and a mostly-disassembled 68 shortbox. Over the past 2 years I’ve puttered and put it back together. This past weekend it ran for a substantial chunk while I looked for leaks etc.

It’s super solid, and has awesome patina from back when it was repainted from its original dark-ish green.
