Three on the tree bushings

So with the lack of finding the linkage bushings for the three on the tree down at the transmission, I "kinda" made my own. I used 5/16th fuel hose. Cut roughly 1/2" long. Shoved it into the levers on the side of the transmission, set the rod pins into the hose, a washer and the clip, and ta-da... "bushings"! I have put roughly 100 miles on it so far. And so far, so good. Much, much better than the wore out orginals. I dunno if I would call it a forever fix... but its working good at this time. And if they don't last... it cost pennies to use.... Just cut some fresh ones.
