Axle I.D

I have a 1982 Chevy C10 pickup that has a rear axle that belonged to a Suburban, at least that's what the seller told me when I bought it from him in 1993. He might have told me the year, but I don't remember it. So, now I'm working on the rear drum brakes and I need to get parts for them. I can't get parts unless I know what vehicle the axle came from. I checked the axle for any identifiying information and found this information: GM35, D084 or DO84 I couldn,t tell if it was a zero or an O. And last was 14055251. Don't know if this will help in obtaining year, make, and model.
