HEI Pigtail Connector
I'd post this in the electrical forum, but there isn't much traction over there. So here goes.
I want to convert my Dad's truck (1970 CST/10) over to HEI, and and I have some bulk 12g wire with pink insulation. Instead of buying a "wire kit" from one of the aftermarket places and paying ridiculous amounts of shipping for a 6 dollar part, I could make one myself. I ordered some Packard 56 terminals as well to install in the firewall junction block so I can do this the right way. I planned on just using a female spade connector on the other end of the 12g wire at the HEI end. But then tried to look up HEI pigtails, and they all come with 14g wire instead of 12g. So I am curious if anyone has a link or knows where I can get the bare HEI terminal? And is that a female Packard 56 clip in side of it? Pic for reference Any info would be deeply appreciated. Gary
