How are the torsion boxes, rocker box end caps, A pillars, b pillars, floor supports, etc? There's alot going on underneath, that typically rusts. It becomes a can of worms if you want to do it right.

10k plus is not a stretch, definitely worth more, and definitely potential to be worth a lot more. As said before 72 AC Highlander. If those are factory front seats, with the rear is probably 3k on the open market just for parts!

I'd ask him to set a price, hopefully its low, and you can offer him a little more. A close family friend would be fair, good luck!
That's a gem worth saving!!!!
