LKQ rant
I ordered a rear differential for an 05 tahoe for a customers vehicle with a bad housing and badly chipped spider gears. first one shows up, looks good from the outside so we open it up and there's chunks of spider gears stuck to the magnet. I call them again and tell them to send another one and to make sure the internal parts are in one piece. I only work till noon now that i get social security. well it showed up today after i left and the shop owner wasn't there either so the dumb a$$es accepted it- by the way it was $200 more than the first one since it had less miles. the shop owner sent me a bunch of pictures of it and it looks like it came out of a swamp- the backing plates are rotted through and the rust scale is a quarter inch thick. had me or him been there we wouldn't have accepted it- i've sent parts back before the looked like crap. so, tomorrow i get to call them back and ***** about it. sorry for the long post but just wondering if anyone else has had problems with LKQ.
