Leaky trans dip stick tube fix...

For my fresh TH350 trans I had to purchase one of the aftermarket chrome dip stick tubes and it has been nothing but a hassle. I constantly have a leak of sorts from the base where it goes into the trans. I have checked and replaced the rubber o-ring, adjusted the mounting bracket to insure it was straight into the hole, but still it leaks. Is there some fix out there? Should I just try and locate a factory tube?

thanks!
