I've always felt the '68 deluxe interior was the classiest of the 3 years. I like the '67 with the stripes, but the '68 looks more plush and refined. I'm the odd man out on the '69 hounds tooth, as I really don't like that pattern.
The 68 houdstooth is prettier than 69 as the "tooth" pattern is smaller than 69's. My uncle had a 68 with factory deluxe houndstooth and headrests. Quite the fancy interior. Yeah I am glad my 68 is a factory deluxe car, the capper on the interior was then having the N34 option (wood wheel). I do have a complete fold down rear seat I picked up years ago for my 68, but Ive yet to install it since 80% of my interior is still original and in great shape.
