Trouble with Moog Dust Boot

I am hoping someone can help with installing the dust boot on a Moog lower ball joint. I have replaced the ball joint and trying to get the boot to go all the way over the ball joint and seat on the control arm. I can't seem to get it to go all the way on and stay on. Here is what I have done so far.
1. Used a 2" pipe to hammer it on
2. Went o Moog site and they recommended using two channel lock pliers to work two sides down at a time. Didn't work.
3. WD 40 on inside of boot and ball joint
4. Grease on inside of boot and ball joint.
5. Warmed just the boot in front of heater then used pipe. (my garage isn't heated and it has been cold in MD)
6. Use a flat chisel and a punch and a hammer, but started to damage the lip of the boot.
7. Heated the entire control arm/ball joint and boot and used pipe and hammer.
8. Heated everything, used a clamp, pulled it down snug, left over night, pulled clamp and slid back up.

Here is a picture of my latest attempt. It is seated with the clamp on, but as soon as the pressure if released, it slides about an 1/8th inch up.

Any suggestions or something I am missing? I don't want to rely on the spindle putting enough pressure to hold it down. The last thing I want to do is torque the spindle and then have to take it apart because the dust boot is not seated.
