New guy here - looking for a truck

Hello all, I live in Cottonwood, AZ and am looking for a 69-73 GMC or C10 truck to tinker with and take to car shows and mostly have just for fun. Right now I am in the 15-30k range and falling into the trap of "if I had just a little more money, but that is usually how it goes. My search is frustrating for several reasons

People don't respond to their ad
Are sentimental about their truck and want way too much
Are trying to flip it and make a 50% profit
Saw one like it at an auction on TV so theirs should be worth that much
Only take pics of the top side of the truck and from 20 ft away
Consider spraying a black coating on the frame as restoration
It was restored 20 years ago so it is still pristine
It doesn't leak except maybe a drop here and there
Has no rust except for a bit here and there
Have more than asking price in parts and are practically giving it away
Don't like to answer questions because it is all in the ad
and on and on and on lol (rant mode off)

I joined here to ask and research a lot of questions and I sure I will have plenty. I am willing to fly or drive about anywhere in the US for the right truck.
