8man Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2017 Location: Bryan, Texas Posts: 2,402	Door latches and catches I have a 55 and was working on the door latches, 1st picture, when I noticed the difference in the two door catches. Does anyone know which one is original? Then picture 2 shows one of the latches that has a thin metal shield, the screwdriver is inserted behind it. The other latch, picture 3, does not have that shield. Which one is original, and which is new?
