A huge thank you to all the help and knowledge

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that has helped me on this board over the years. In particular I want to thank the nameless person that mentioned using an impact wrench to tighten and break off the bolts that hold the bed strips on! I am in the process of removing and replacing the wood in my grandfather's 1968 C10. I tried removing one of these bolts and it quickly rounded out in the bed strip. I have taken 20 or so other bolts out by just snapping them off. SOOOO much easier.

Now, if I can just get all the other bolts that hold the wheel wells and such off! I was able to get some off with a Sawzall, some with a grinder. One with my air hammer and a chisel. One or two actually threaded out. It's always an adventure with this old truck.

Anyway, thanks to everyone that continues to offer support to those of us new to these truck and restoration in general. I couldn't do this without you.

Bill
