1967: Was there Custom and a CST? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Now since we have this up in the air just when DID the CST option appear? Someone on another thread says in 67 there were three levels which I find hard to believe so I am going to be researching. I have two 67's now and they both say only Custom on the side. One is even a bone stock loaded 67 GMC factory original with factory red bucket seat and the fender louever chrome emblem says Custom. I allways thought the CST Z84 option (Custom Sport Truck) was first marketed in the 1969 models and later became Cheyenne in 71?
I feel reproduction parts has confused many as they show Custom and CST door emblems repo for 67-68. CST upper door emblems was marketed and used on 69 up Blazers. I thought Custom models were used in 67 just as were on the 66's and what I have seen 67 GMC's too.
