LMC Fuel Related Parts Purchase Help

Hi all, I'm getting ready to purchase several fuel related items from LMC and could use a bit of help (I called them and asked these questions but they couldn't offer any help other than reading to me what is on their web-site).

I will be buying a replacement gas tank. They have two options:

32-5922 Gas Tank-20 Gallon without EEC "A", Chevy GMC 67-72, $184.75
"A" For models with fuel injection return line.

32-5952 Gas TANK-20 GAL Without EEC "B", CHEVY GMC 67-72, $164.95
"B" For models without fuel injection return line.

I was ready to order "B" as my truck is a stock '69. I didn't realize there is an option "A" with a return line port on the tank itself. I thought that in the case of a return, the return typically would run through the sending unit, not the tank itself. However, I may do an LS swap at some point in the future. I guess I have two options:

a.) get the replacement tank without the return. If I ever do an ls swap I'd get a sending unit that has two ports.

b.) get the replacement tank with return. For now I can cap that return port on the tank and if I ever do ls swap, the return port will already be on the tank.

Wondering if anyone can advise?

Secondly, I'm also planning on getting a sending unit. My truck is an i6 1bbl (I'll use this engine for now) but I also have a shiny new 350 sitting in the garage that will get swapped at some point. LMC offers the following sending units:

32-4020 Sending Unit-w/2bbl "C", Chevy GMC 67-71, $37.95
32-4022 Sending Unit-w/4bbl "C", Chevy GMC 67-71,$37.95

Which one do I need given I need it to work with both my current i6 and future 350 4bbl that will get swapped in at some point? Again, LMC wasn't much help.

Thank you,

Luke
