Thumbs down More dope smokin old man rigging goin on

Yup, found some more here...actually, I knew it was there, just never had any pics...
For starters, this truck was originally a 305 V-6 /TH400. As most of us know, the TH400 mounting pad is a little further back than a TH350.
When he installed the TH350, instead of unbolting the cross member and moving it to the PREDRILLED holes, he just fabbed this out of steel plate. All it is, is an extention mouniong pad, reaching back from the crossmember.
One advantage though, when you go to drop the tranny pan, there is no cross member in the way to make you dump all the red crap in your hair.

Here is another...rather amusing. I just wonder what he paid for the pot he was smokin when he did this...
When he placed the engine and tranny combo in, it was at a slight angle..the rear of the tranny is a bit too far to the passenger side. Instead of loosening up a fer bolts and kicking the tranny to move it over, he took the shifting arm and extended it since it wouldn't reach. No joke. You can see plain as day where this buger was cut and welded with an extention.

The Dope Smokin Old Man...a true inbread b@stard.
