New guy from Texas (65 C10 Stepside Short bed)

Hey guys,

Just joined and will probably have a bunch of questions. I'll try and use the search function as much as possible so we don't beat a dead horse, but I may accidentally ask a previously answered question or two. I bought my 65 a few months ago. I've been doing some clean up on the frame, the firewall, and replacing the springs/shocks, and running new stainless and soft brake lines. Goal is to make it run and stop good, look really good on the inside and under the hood, and look "pretty good" on the outside. Basically, as it does now. I'll smooth out the obvious dents and stuff. I'm building a 496 stroker for it, so it should be a fun little truck. I have very nice 67 Chevelle SS and I can't drive it anywhere and just walk away from it without freaking out, so I wanted to build this thing so I can do that. Anyways, happy to be here and I'll help out wherever I can.
