Red face Engine swap on, engine swap off....on, off...

Well, I may have changed my mind again.
I might not be doing the Caddy swap into my truck.....I may just do the small block.
I picked up a pretty nice '84 Coupe deVille with a bad engine. The '84 uses the same chassis as the earlier ('77-'79) Cads and the engines in those cars bolted up the same (and are basically the same size) as the 500 so it'll pretty much be a "bolt in". The only thing that will stop me from putting the 500 in the Coupe is emissions.....I might have that one figured out though.
The truck originally had a 350 in it but I sold the engine. I also sold the driveshaft but still have the TH-350.
Anyone that's going to the Ohio meet that has a decent sbc and/or driveshaft for a lwb 2wd V8 truck, let me know, I might be interested.
