1979 C10, Smooth Firewall, LS Swap, Fuse Box Location?
I'm helping a friend rebuild his 1979 C 10. It has a 5.3LS and 4L60E. And a brand-new Painless fuse block and wiring harness. He also went with the smoothing kit on the firewall, and the cab has been painted. Now we are wondering where to put the fuse block and LS computer to keep all the wiring out from under the hood. You guys have seen those trucks were you open the hood and you see no wires anywhere, that's what he's shooting for.
I wonder if any of you guys have any ideas on where and how to install this fuse block. Maybe some of you have done this before, or seen it being done. We would love to read about any and all ideas you might have. If I was successful, some pictures are attached. Thanks for any ideas you may be willing to share. Mike |
