Question Longhorn;toolbox;sidebox door stuff

Hey all, I'm trying to bring back a serious cancer victim. It's my '72 Longhorn. If it was a horse........well.... The toolbox on the side is in hmmm BAD shape. There is NO METAL left below the door itself. I am trying to find any kind of repair piece, or if somebody has a damaged longbed with toolbox that they can part with. I intend to cut it at the body crease if I can find a nice panel... I know, good luck. I would also be interested in a nice door . Or maybe a labotomy.... I know I can fab the pieces if necessary..... if I have a couple of months free time. The good news is....the fiberglass box is solid. Go figure. I also am curious if anyone has some good under bed "hat" channels. Mine are "see through". Has anyone made their own wood pieces for their truck? I think I can use a shaper to make the grooves.
