How Do The Turn Signals Work??????

Howdy all,

'82 K30 W/ 454, Flatbed with duals.

OK. I'm trying to wire up new trailer wiring jacks, but I'm stumped!

Followed the buggered up harness back to what I believe is the stock harness, which has a 4-way plug. 4 wide spade leads, 2 vertical and 2 horizontal.

To make a long story (and 2 hours work) short, how do I wire into the the turn signals?

If I touch the tester to one vert lead with 1 turn signal on, I have to touch one horiz. term to the vert. term to even make the signal flash. one vert term glows brightly when grounded (no flash) and the other vert term glows dull.

I'm used to the Yellow-green-white-red type wiring. Am I passing the dumbsh1t test or what?

Thanks!

Scott
