What to look for when buying a used truck??

Going to go look at a used truck later in the week. It's an 85 1/2 ton, 350 (converted from 305), 4 Sp., 4wd. New clutch, lock-out hubs. Some rust on rockers and wheel wells. Needs an exhaust. Motor was rebuilt, all he said was a "mild cam", headers, and new water pump, fuel pump, etc. I'm not too concerned with the motor, I am planning to do something with it anyway. Could you guys point me in the right direction as far as what to look at, look for, ask, etc. I'm planning on using the truck for hunting and general hauling of stuff.
