Even the world class t-5 isn't all that strong. It is only rated at 305 foot pounds of torque.
If one were to want a 5 spped, and wanted to bang gears a little, but not allthe time, I would say to look at huck's set up real close...I drove it, I like it. I don't know the torque rating of it, but being that it is a truck tranny, and came bolted to 350 engines...I'm sure it is better than the T-5.

All T-5 trannys are overdrive. This came in mustangs, S-10's, camarows, trans ams/firebird, and I think maybe rangers too.
