Wrong gas tank filler neck gasket?
I recently pulled my gas tank (behind the seat in a '70 C-10) & went to put it in today & noticed the gasket I bought from ChevyDuty is not exactly the same as the one I removed. The "original" gasket was much thicker. The inner neck that seals the gas tank neck is larger than the gas tank neck.
The gas tank is probably not original. Has anyone else here had this problem & what to do next / where to find a better fitting gasket? Thanks Everyone,
