Stock interior mirror...mirror replacement?
I have a stock interior rearview mirror that is in perfect working order except the etching on the mirror (coating on back of glass that makes it a mirror) is bad...flaking, peeling, and just bad. as a result it doesn't 'mirror' well. i'd like to just replace the glass mirror...is this possible? i didn't see an obvious/easy way to remove/replace it.
i'd rather not replace the whole assembly if i can avoid it. thanks in advance for any info... ken
