67cst i love summertime Join Date: Jul 2002 Location: Kelowna BC Posts: 4,303	removing the sticky crap under the pinstripes? sorry for another question guys, ive been flooding the board lately but what i want to know is right now im removing the awful blue pinstriping on my 71, i did the tailgate tonight just to test the grounds, i used a heat gun and that got the stripes off no problem but in spots there is still the adhesive. is there a cleaner that will remove this sticky stuff without harming paint? thanks in advance, Derek __________________ 1967 shortbox stepside Chevy, 365 hp 327, th400.
