72 3/4 ton 4x4 Suburban FS

I hate to let it go but I've decided I can't give it the attention it deserves, so its for sale.

Located in NH

1972 3/4 ton 4x4 Suburban 4 sale. 350/TH350. Custom Deluxe, 3 seats, barn doors. Ochre/Parchment. PS, PDB. 3rd owner, 106000 miles. One of <600 made in 72 with that drivetrain and barn door configuration. Original protect-o-plate and owner's manual.

This is a complete vehicle and mostly original and unmolested. Runs and drives, last on road in January 2003. I went thru it completely in 2001, here's what was done:

GM Crate motor <10K (hecho in Mexico)
Professionally rebuilt TH350 <5000 miles
4 nearly new BF Goodrich All-terrain T/A radials
New starter and dizzy (not HEI)
New Edelbrock carb (600CFM, electric-choke)
Replaced gas tank/sending unit.
New brake lines and hoses all around
New rotors and calipers
New gas lines front to back
New master cylinder and radiator
New single exhaust from muffler back
Front clip replaced with rust-free fenders (inner/outer) and radiator support.
All hacked wiring replaced with good used pieces.

Basically it was gone thru with the intent to use a daily driver, then a full resto down the road.

The grille is nice and has all 3 seats. 3rd seat is not installed, but goes with it. Uncut dash, 4wd works flawlessly

The is a New England truck and though it has not seen extensive winter use in years, the body needs work. PO patched floors and quarter panels, but they are in need of attention again. Needs rockers and floor supports, doors are salvageable, 3rd door is nice. Firewall, door pillars, and windshield frame are solid. I have a set of decent barn doors to go with it. If it were me, I'd find a decent body and start there, though all patch panels it needs are now available.

Frame, spring, and hangers are solid, has receiver hitch. Needs tune-up as it has not run much since 2003.

Needs headpipe, center e-brake cable, and drag link tie rod ends to pass a NH inspection.

$1900 OBO. Would like to see it go to good home before snow flies.

I have more pics, PM me if seriously interested.
