700r into a 69swb

what did u guy have to do to put this into my 69 swb truck . i need measurments for a drive shaft . i think that my only hang up i think . i have 12 bolt rear in this truck .

You will have to shorten the driveshaft, I had to in my Longhorn. I had to make a custom trans mount. The most important thing is the proper set up for the TV cable. You'll burn it up quickly if you don't have that right.

My truck was orginally a 6cyl/three on tree. I put in 350c.i.d./700r4. I moved the motor to the V-8 position. Went to local clutch and joint shop and had them add a longer yoke to the driveshaft (I have one piece). This extended yoke gave me a great fit. The drive shaft could have been 3/4 inch longer but w/the yoke made up for that. Cost wise it was 90 bucks or so having them add the yoke and new u-joint (off set) to my driveshaft.
