TH350 Trans Mount part #

Just for the record here i thought id share this with you. I have a 1986 C10 Custom Deluxe with a TH350 automatic transmission. Well the truck was clunking when i threw it in reverse so i decided it was time to change the tranny mount being i had done the motor mounts last year and they were good. So this morning i went to my local Napa and ordered the trans mount which was given to me as per the computer there part # 620-1107 a Napa Balkamp mount. Go home crawl under the truck and take out the old mount and go to put the new mount in and it wont fit, not to mention that it doesnt look a dern thing like the mount that came out.. So i head back to Napa ( which is a rarity with these guys my local Napa is a great bunch of helpful guys) and he double checks his book and his computer and it insists the part number i have is right. Mike pulls another box off the shelf and the mnount that wont fit the truck is the same as the new box. Well after some searching and fooling around with the book and all we find the mount for my truck. Turns out the mount is part # 620-1189.. it matched perfectly to what was in the truck originally and bolted up perfectly. Apparently the Napa computer and book is wrong and this is something that will be the same way cross country. So if anyone else has the same problem hopefully they will see this post and it will save yall some grief

I had exactly the same experience on the same truck at a different parts store. We ended up matching it up visually.
