Tanker update (Pics)
Well we dragged her out of her resting place for 8 years to another location to rest until I can get a wrecker to get her home. Lots of fun towing with my small truck. We had to move her about 2miles on the active logging road thats fun and dusty too. Well I will keep you updated on my progress. Till later Biddaboy

Compared to some of the trucks on this board, you've come along way...........
You are going to put the tank back on, right?

that truck is sooo ugly....
but I LOVE IT!! those old "catfish grille" GMC's have always caught my attention, just like the 67-72 GMC grille always has; they have timeless looks to them. I would eventually like to get a '56 (preferably) or '57 GMC Napco truck to restore.

My dad just bought a 1958 91000 like that complete with the tank and pumping gear. The truck was used in a town about 20 miles away from us up until about 10 years ago as a back up truck. It is amazing how great of shape these old fire trucks are in.

Cool truck. Id buy it if I had the money. I dont need another vehicle especially something like that...but it would be a awesome truck to restore.

That is what I want to do with it, but I am restoring my '68 GMC and my dad is restoring a '52 IHC L-180 snub nose, so no room in the shop, and he hates to see it sitting outside with nothing being done to it.
