'72 chevy 4x4 LWB for sale!!!

1972 LWB 4X4..auto, factory a/c, 1/2 ton, 350 w/ around 50,000 miles on it. New true dual exhaust with magnaflows, HEI, New "original" Radio, heddman headers, good tires and wheels, Odometer just rolled over, now showing 500 miles. power steering, power brakes. Bedliner and toolbox included. Also has '94 steering wheel (original one will go with it also). Has some minor rust on the rocker panels. Tranny is in need of some work. Was going to ask $7000 but dropped to $6500 because of tranny. Email me or post up if you have questions.

Keep it, just replace the seat with something newer/more comfortable.
They fit pretty good in our trucks. You get nice comfy seats and a shoulder harness to boot.

here are some more pictures. Sorry for the bad quality it was raining. I will take some more when the rain stops. The first pic is the rust on the quarter panell (drivers side) It is the worst of the two. These are the only bad rust spots on the truck. The last picture, there is a tach, you just cant see it.

OT Question

Off the topic but I was curious, whats the interest been?
Have allot of people inquired about it? It's a really nice looking truck, thought it would have sold by now.
Good luck with the sale...

i have only had one call on it. A guy up in NYC. He sounded real interested in it, but i think the distance was a problem. I have it in the local trader and on trader online. If i dont get anymore hits i will put it in their mag. and a few other places.

What's wrong with the tranny? Is all of the drive line original except for the motor?

turkey, i dont know if the drive line is original or not. As far as i know, they only thing rebuilt was the motor. The tranny just needs a new seal. It leaks a little and just needs to be topped off every now and then.

Looks good to me... You would think that with snow right around the corner, a 4x4 would be an easy sale

thanks for the bump. I have had some calls, but it seems like everybody is looking for a nice truck for $2000. Who knows?

i did find out from the previous owner that the tranny was rebuilt sometime around 50k miles ago, the front end is original. The rear is not. It was swapped out for a posi rearend. And the transfer case is original.

I don't know if this is a trend anywhere else but things are getting harder for me to sell. Maybe it is the rust. Even with all the goodies the rust through may be killing the sale?

well the only bad rust is on the rockers. Which arent very expensive to replace. Anyways, i am not too worried about it. I am a patient man thats not in any hurry. The baby is not due till april. Thanks for the bumps though. I appreciate it.

I know where your at, your near Millspring and Asheville... Someone said it earlier but with winter coming on I bet you will sell it soon there. Man I wish I had the Dough, but I am unfortunately in the something for nothing market myself.
