Superwinch transfer case conversion
Just wondered if anyone had any experience with the superwinch 203 part time conversion set. Seems like I've heard people rip on it, although I've never heard why. I'm getting ready to swap in a case with that setup, and if I need to, I'd rather switch to something else now.
Thanks guys Joe

Is yours the whole shaft kit or the one where you just replace the "spider" type gears?

It had the 4 little spider gears in it. I used to be pretty hard on the truck. Back then I think the only company that made the shaft type was someone like Borg Warner and they where like buying a whole transfer case. Very expensive.

When I had my 74 Blazer, I had put the Mile Marker kit in it. It was the one like Mudder has with the spider gears. I never had a bit of trouble with it and it even outlasted an engine and transmission...

I had the mile marker kit in the 203 that used to be in my truck. Never had any problems with it and I did wail on it a few times......that would be where I put my money. I do however like the superwinch hubs......they have held up to a lot of abuse!
