Question wanted : aluminum vortech heads

hey,
well i'm a 67-72 guy but i'm looking for a set of aluminum vortech heads for a sb 350. would someone have a rebuildable set i could purchase?

5.7L Vortec heads are all cast, not aluminum.
You may be looking for some other kind of head.

there aluminum on corvettes and one or 2 other makes.

Vettes never had the vortec motor and neither did the F-Body.
GM did not make aluminum vortec heads.

GM definately sells aluminum Vortec heads aftermarket. I do not know what they were original equipment on, if anything. But GM definately does make them!

Yes they make them BUT, they were not on any production cars or trucks.

Look for Edelbrock E-Tec heads.

they are not aluminum Vortec heads, they are Fastburn heads, which happen to share the same intake pattern. Fastburns are FAR superior to Vortecs.
